 Arete originates from the Greek and means living up to one's potential or  their excellence.Doing everything they can to make their lives better and helping others to live thier best life that they can.An example would be Mr.Haymore he does everything he can in his favor to help out everyone else and makes sure that everyone else is happy.He supports and tries everything he can tom ake his students and family happy.An organization would be food pantries because they try their best to hrlp out people who are homeless and they are trying to reach their excellence.
